HIStory of Michael Jackson

Michael Jackson started out in the Jackson 5 when he was only 6 years old. In 1971 he has his first solo album at the ago of 13.

'Got to Be There' was released in 1972 as Michael's first solo album. His next solo album was also released in 1972 'Ben'. This went silver in the UK.

In 1973 'Music & Me' was his third solo album.

2 years later, 'Forever, Michael' came out.

4 years later, he debuted as an adult with his CD 'Off the Wall' it sold over 20 million copies in the US.

In 1982 'Thiller' was released. Until now (2010) this is still the best selling album of all time.

5 years later he released 'Bad' in 1987. It sold 18 million times.

In 1991 'Dangerous' was released. It sold over 7 million copies.

In 1993 he won the Grammy Legend Award.

In 1995 he released 'HIStory: Past, Present, Future, Book 1' this CD went multiple platinum in multiple countries.

In 1997 'Blood on the Dancefloor' was released. This CD sold over 2 million copies.

In 2001 'Invincible' was released and sold over 14 million copies.

'Number Ones' was released in 2003.

Only a year later another best of came out 'The Ultimate Collection' with unreleased songs.

In 2005 'The Essential Michael Jackson' was released.

In 2006 'Visionary: The Video Singles' were released. It sold over 5 million copies.

'King of Pop' was released only 2 years later in 2008 and sold over 5 million copies. Also in 2008 came 'Thriller 25' .

On June 25th 2009 Michael died of cardiac arrest, leaving 3 children behind.

After his death they still made compilation CD's and will make new CD's with never before released songs, this first one would come out at the end of 2010.
